LETICIA LIVE AT THE KROMHOUT

Front cover

This album, released by Leticia Records in 2010, is a live recording of 2 solo concerts in the KROMHOUTWERF in October and November 2009. The Kromhoutwerf is a former shipyard in Amsterdam, now turned into a museum with fantastic acoustics. The album consists mostly of Leticia's compositions with the exception of 2 covers, 'El Manicero' and 'El Swing'. The instruments that Leticia plays on this cd are marimba, loop station, Latin percussion, fruit bowls and her voice (used as an instrument). Although most of the themes are performed solo, some of them include guest musicians: Paul Weiling on saxophone, Delia González on lead vocals and maracas, and Tyrone Collis on guitar and percussion.
The album got many reviews in Dutch daily's and magazines, offline and online. Scroll down to read some of these reviews.
